Curriculum

The curriculum of Sage School has been designed, keeping in view the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) and is based on the National Policy on Education (NPE). The curriculum aims to follow the CBSE System of Education incorporating the method of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) and looks toward the holistic development of the child concentrating equally on scholastic and co-scholastic areas.

Junior and Senior School Curriculum :-

Classes: KG to IV :

A student is required to study English, II Language (Hindi / Telugu), Mathematics, Environmental Studies, General Knowledge and Computer Science. Art, handicrafts, Papercrafts, Clay modelling, Music and Creative dance are offered as co-curricular activities. Physical Education is compulsory for all students.

Classes: V – VII:

A student is required to study English, II Language (Hindi / Telugu), Mathematics, General Science and Social Science. It is compulsory to have III Language (Hindi / Telugu / French).

Teaching Methodology:

It is an interactive method of teaching, which largely depends on active pupil participation and hands-on learning. The child is the centre of the teaching-learning process. Various tools such as activities, group discussions, projects, field trips, audio-visual presentations, sole plays, quizzes, and debates form an integral part of the teaching-learning process.

Assessments:

School follows a Comprehensive and Continuous Evaluation process. It aims at evaluating the child in every sphere of learning and development.
